A Final Moment

“Be freeee”, he said, as he tearfully lowered his favourite Whale Shark into the oceans, watching the waves slowly drift it into the abyss.
The Whale Shark looked back, taking a last long look at his favourite human. With a final flap of its fins, it smiled and turned towards the sunset, fins making gentle waves that ripple back out to shore. He knew that was the last moment they would see each other again.
Then she grabbed it out of the waters and claimed it hers.
